Being part of Makita's expanding 18V Lithium-Ion system, which is the world's largest cordless tool system powered by 18V Lithium-Ion slide-style batteries, this fan comes with batteries that have the fastest charge times in their categories. This means more time spent working and less time waiting for batteries to charge. To enhance tool performance and extend battery life, Makita introduced Star protection Computer controls. This technology allows the tool and battery to exchange data in real time, monitoring conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.
