The Makita XPH16Z is a powerful 18V LXT® Brushless 1/2" Hammer Driver-Drill, Tool-Only, featuring a Makita-built brushless motor that delivers 970 in.lbs. of Max Torque. This provides up to 70% more power than the previous model, making it ideal for demanding drilling and driving applications. The brushless motor not only delivers increased power and speed but also ensures longer tool life and run time.

With a variable 2-speed design (0-550 & 0-1,800 RPM) (0-8,250 & 0-27,000 BPM), this tool covers a wide range of drilling, driving, and hammer applications. It is equipped with an all-metal ½” gear housing for enhanced durability on the job site.

The design of the XPH16Z prioritizes convenience, featuring a compact and ergonomic design at only 6-7/8" long, dual L.E.D. lights for increased visibility, and a rubberized soft grip for comfort during extended use. Weighing only 4.9 lbs. with a 5.0Ah battery (sold separately), operator fatigue is reduced, enhancing overall user experience.
