Makita 18V Sub-Compact Impact Wrench

Makita has introduced a new class of cordless tools with their 18V LXT® sub-compact series. These sub-compact tools offer users the handling of a 12V tool with the run time of an 18V tool, while also being compatible with the world's largest 18V Lithium-Ion cordless tool system. The 18V LXT® sub-compact Brushless 1/2" square drive impact wrench, model XWT13ZB, is perfect for tight spaces and overhead applications. It features an efficient Makita Brushless motor BL™ that provides up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed, and extended tool life.

This impact wrench has a variable two-speed design with 0-1,300/0-2,400 RPM and 0-2,000/0-3,600 IPM, along with a maximum torque of 130 ft.Lbs. The compact size and lighter weight of the tool reduce fatigue for operators, especially during overhead use. The reverse rotation auto-stop mode halts rotation and impact when the fastener is adequately loosened. Users will also appreciate the variable speed trigger, built-in L.E.D. lights, and the convenient 1/2" square drive for quick socket changes.

Thanks to Makita's extreme protection technology (XPT™), this tool is equipped with a protective seal that enhances its operation in harsh conditions by diverting water and dust away from key internal components. The XWT13ZB is part of Makita's expanding 18V LXT® system, which is powered by 18V Lithium-Ion batteries known for their quick charge times. To further ensure tool performance and battery longevity, Makita developed Star protection Computer controls™, a communication technology that allows the tool and battery to exchange real-time data to prevent overloading, over-discharging, and overheating.

Moreover, the tool can be powered by both Makita 18V LXT® and compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the Star symbol indicating the presence of Star protection inside. The Brushless motor of the XWT13ZB delivers a maximum torque of 155 ft.Lbs., while its variable 2-speed function provides control for various fastening applications. The ultra-compact and ergonomic design further enhances user experience, with the tool weighing only 2.7 lbs. (battery not included) and measuring at just 5-15/16".
