The Makita 4.0 Ah battery provides increased runtime (35% more per charge than the Makita BL1830 battery) and boasts a leading charge time of only 40 minutes, allowing for more work and less waiting for charging. It also includes an L.E.D. charge level indicator for easy monitoring of battery status. The 18V LXT 5.0Ah battery (BL1850) is designed exclusively for use with Star Protection tools, identified by the Star Symbol and/or Yellow Battery Receiver on the tool.
