Makita 18V Cordless Brad Nailer

Ideal for installing narrow trim and molding, the Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless 2" Brad Nailer, 18 Ga. (model XNB01Z, tool only) is a compact and powerful solution. It can drive 18 gauge brad nails ranging from 5/8" to 2" with a magazine capacity of up to 110 nails. When paired with the 18V LXT 3.0Ah battery, the XNB01Z can drive up to 1,000 nails on a single charge (such as attaching plywood to Douglas Fir with 5/8" to 2" nail).

To enhance tool performance and increase battery life, Makita introduced Star Protection Computer Controls. This technology enables real-time data exchange between the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to monitor conditions while in use, protecting against overloading, over-discharging, and overheating. Additionally, the tool can also be powered by Makita 18V LXT and Compact Lithium-Ion batteries with the star symbol to indicate Star Protection inside.

Equipped with a 2-mode selector switch for sequential or contact nailing operation, the XNB01Z has a net weight of 7.7 pounds (including the battery). It features an easy-to-use "tool-less" depth adjustment dial for a wide range of finish applications and an anti-dry drive mechanism to prevent driving blanks and damaging the work surface. The battery gauge provides a clear indication of the battery charge level.

For extended use, the XNB01Z can drive up to 1,660 finish nails with a 5.0Ah 18V LXT Battery (battery not included). This versatile brad nailer offers efficient and reliable performance for various finishing tasks.
