The Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion cordless Hedge Trimmer (tool only) features an anti-vibration structure engineered with five cushions in the motor housing to minimize vibrations. It also includes a battery capacity warning system that activates an indicator light and automatically stops the motor to alert the user when it's time to recharge the battery.

With a lower noise level of only 87 dBA, this trimmer offers improved user comfort, being 25% quieter than other cordless units. The ergonomic design measures 38" long and weighs only 7.4 lbs with an 18V LXT battery (sold separately). The 2-handed operation switch is designed to activate the motor only when the switch and top handle are engaged, while the improved rubberized soft grip ensures maximum user comfort.

Additionally, this trimmer features a quick blade change system that eliminates the need to disassemble the housing. It comes equipped with a 22" dual-action double-sided shear blade for precision cutting, driven by a Makita-built motor delivering 2,700 SPM for fast cutting speed.

Offering up to 1-1/2 hours of run time with an 18V LXT 4.0Ah battery, this trimmer is designed with operator comfort in mind, thanks to its compact and ergonomic design for easy maneuverability.
