The Makita XUX02SM1X1 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Couple Shaft Power Head Kit with 13” String Trimmer Attachment (4.0Ah) offers a welcome solution for a variety of trimming and cutting tasks. With zero emissions, lower noise levels, and maximum versatility, this kit is powered by two 18V LXT 4.0Ah Batteries for top performance and extended run time. The brushless motor delivers up to 7,000 RPM with the 13” String Trimmer Attachment, which includes a rapid loading bump-and-feed trimmer head for easy line loading in just three steps.

The Power Head features a lever-style lock system that enables quick and tool-less installation and replacement of attachments. It is compatible with a range of other attachments for tasks like trimming, edging, cultivating, and brush cutting (attachments sold separately). Additionally, the Power Head includes features such as a variable speed trigger and a reverse (clockwise) rotation system for clearing entangled weed and grass swiftly.

The kit also incorporates Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), which provides a protective seal inside the tool to enhance its operation in challenging conditions by redirecting water and dust from key internal components.
