The Makita XUX02SM1X2 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Couple Shaft Power Head Kit is a versatile and eco-friendly solution for trimming and cutting applications. This kit includes a 13” String Trimmer and 20” Articulating Hedge Trimmer Attachment, powered by two 18V LXT 4.0Ah Batteries for maximum performance and run time without gas hassles. The power head features a lever-style lock system, allowing for quick and tool-less installation and replacement of attachments.

In addition to the included attachments, the power head is compatible with various other attachments for tasks like trimming, edging, cultivating, and brush cutting. The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 7,000 RPM with the 13” String Trimmer Attachment and 4,000 SPM with the 20” Articulating Hedge Trimmer Attachment. The String Trimmer Attachment includes a rapid loading bump-and-feed trimmer head for quick line loading.

The Articulating Hedge Trimmer Attachment features dual-action, double-sided steel blades for efficient cutting. With 13 angle settings and a 135-degree working range, it can trim overhead or low-lying hedges with ease. Additional features include a variable speed trigger and a reverse (clockwise) rotation system for clearing entangled weed and grass.
